I noticed that our current method of writing unit story data is somewhat inefficient, as the layout is often what makes the story unique. Otherwise, it just looks really... plain... and empty. Font coloration also conveys and highlights certain points as well (such as "Six"'s Story).
I actually have a history in HTML, and could easily make these changes possible. I could try to format a template, or at least, reformat the stories appropriately. The only issue is I need several things:
- The game's font style.
I don't actually know the font that the game uses. Not that I can't program/edit it, its just that I don't know it. What? You expect me to just sit down and memorize every font? Anyways, If somebody could just tell me what font they used, or a good font to use for a template, I'd appreciate it. (I'd prefer to use something other than the default.) - A background picture or color.
I could use a background picture so that the back of the text doesn't seem so empty. Preferably the one they use. While this isn't near as significant, it would still be a nice touch. - Access to formatting a template.
I really don't know how to design a template on here, let alone if I have permissions to do so. Being able to just design/select a template from a menu would be much easier than building it with singular table cells. It would also allow easy access for others to use (even if they can't quite manage color unless they know HTML as well). I just want access to it. Its not impossible to reformat everything without it, but it would make the process A LOT easier. - Ideas on how it should be formatted.
Obviously, I'd center the text in the content boxes, but should I center the content box as well? Leave it right aligned? Spacing? Format? I want it to fit in appropriately with the wiki's current state, so any suggestions (preferably from mods and admins) are appreciated.
Oh, and if you need proof that I have basic HTML coding skills, that ordered list above... yeah... that had to be programmed in via the source editor :P
Sure, maybe its just breaks and list items, but I can also do color, and font styles.
I know its not much proof, anybody could just look that stuff up, but you'll just have to take my word for it when I say I know more than that.
At any rate, I can add the color and font styles. I just need these few things.
Again, anything you can contribute to me will help greatly. I appreciate any and all feedback.
